pemberton ice cap ICE CAVE, british columbia | helicopter tour with head-line holidays

More on the serious #joblove front…

After the first time in early December being unable to go due to weather conditions, the morning of January 7th came with a forecast of pure sunshine and promised adventure as we headed out to Blackcomb aviation for the ride of our lives.

I had agreed to “model” for National Geographic Traveler China, for a story that has now turned FEATURE, and will land next October. It’s a photo story on extreme adventure in Whistler, so naturally we took a helicopter to the Pemberton Ice Cap to explore the Ice Caves.

Wildly remote, we had the best in business, Doug Washer from Head-line mountain holidays take us out on an incredible tour of the skyline and the caves.

There’s not much I want to say in this post, except to feast your eyes. This felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I would HIGHLY reccomend it to everyone should they have the opportunity.

One of those can’t-stop-smiling days, forever imprinted in my mind as one of my best-evers, I’m not sure what could possibly top this.

So get out there. Say yes to things. Even if it means awakwardly posing in front of a camera in an ice cave for hours. (DID I SAY JOBLOVE?!?!)

…and remember, be careful around the tip. 🙂 🙂 🙂
