British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast and a slower pace of life

It’s not a far jaunt from Whistler to the Sunshine Coast, but when you’re there, you feel like you’re a world away.

The pace of life resembles Island life, and sure – you take a ferry to get there, but you’re actually not on an island at all… You’re just on a secluded section on British Columbia’s mainland coast line.

Tall trees that nearly touch the sky and a warm, welcoming climate – the Sunshine Coast is a little slice of heaven in the Sea-To-Sky corridor.

It was my first time there, and we didn’t really have a plan except to bike as much as we possibly could through the highly recommended trails of forest and dirt.

The Sunshine Coast is a mountain bikers paradise – trail riding, shuttle tracks and an epic bike park filled with long, flowy runs. Hidden waterfalls, rain forest walking trails and camp spots, it’s the perfect little close-to-home vacation.

I’ll be coming back for more of you, Sunshine Coast.
